FORT WAYNE, Ind. — All three suspects who are connected to a Fort Wayne homicide are now in jail.

Police say 20-year-old Cody Clements turned himself in Monday afternoon. On Monday night, the other two men — 21-year-old Matthew Cramer and 20-year-old Jacob Carreon-Hamilton — were found and arrested.

The trio led police on a chase through Fort Wayne early Sunday morning. Officers backed off due to “unsafe conditions.” Soon after, the car crashed into the back of a home.

55-year-old Shane Nguyen was found dead at the scene, while the three men ran away. The Allen County Coroner’s Office says Nguyen died from blunt force trauma to the head, and ruled his death a homicide.

Fort Wayne Police Sgt. Jeremy Webb called the killing “barbaric,” telling ABC21 “it was brutal and extreme.”

The investigation is ongoing, and charges against the three suspects will be announced at a later date.
