MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ind. — The two people who died in a plane crash Sunday morning in Montgomery County near State Road 47 have been identified.
Ben Corbet, 21, of Franklin and Kristen Green, 28, from Swisher, Iowa were in the plane when it crashed into a field. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The plane came from Lift Academy, a flight school on the campus of the Indianapolis International Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration is still investigating why the plane went down.
