INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were found shot to death in separate parts of the city overnight.

The first shooting happened in Cumberland a little after 8 p.m. Thursday evening. Police say they got the call about a person found dead with a gunshot wound at the intersection of East 10th Street and North German Church Road.

Cumberland Police Chief Suzanne Woodland said the man was found with a gunshot wound. The man is believed to be in his early 20s.

A couple of hours later Indianapolis Metro Police were called to a gas station at North Emerson and New York Street on the east side. They said a man was shot to death inside the gas station.

It’s clear if police have suspects in either shooting.
