FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — A teenager has died after a shooting outside a basketball fieldhouse in Fishers.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office says 17-year-old Thomas Pearson Jr. has died.

Pearson, along with another juvenile, was shot outside Best Choice Fieldhouse just before 10 p.m. Thursday.

Police said Pearson and the other minor were getting into a car when they were shot.

The other minor is in stable condition at a hospital.

The Fishers Police Department is looking for two male suspects in a brown, older-model Toyota Camry.

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — Two teenagers were hurt in a shooting Thursday night in the parking lot of a basketball field house, police say.

Police were called to a shooting shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday at Best Choice Fieldhouse, 11825 Technology Drive. That’s near the 116th Street/State Road 37 interchange at I-69.

The teenagers were getting into their car in the parking lot when they were shot, police said. They were alert and speaking as they were taken to a hospital.

Police were searching for two male suspects. They were in a beige, boxy-style, older-model Toyota.

It is not an active shooting scene, police said.

Multiple police agencies had a large perimeter set up around the area while searching for the suspects. A drone was searching the area.

Police were questioning youths at the scene.
