U.S. Marshals Share Details on Arrest of Young Dolph Murder Suspects

INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Marshals Service is sharing more information about the arrest of Justin Johnson, a man wanted for the murder of rapper Young Dolph.
Johnson is accused of fatally shooting Adolph Thornton, Jr., 36, a.k.a. “Young Dolph,” in Memphis on Nov. 17.
Johnson was tracked down and arrested on Tuesday in Brazil, Ind.
Police also arrested 27-year-old Shundale Barnett, who was wanted for accessory to murder in the Young Dolph case.
Johnson and Barnett have been extradited back to Memphis to face charges.
A third suspect, Cornelius Smith, appeared in court Thursday in Tennessee on a theft charge related to the car used in Young Dolph’s killing.
