INDIANAPOLIS — Students with Washington Township Schools will begin the school year online instead of in the classroom.
The MSD Washington Township School Board said they believe it is the “best course of action in the near term…not to have students return to the classroom while coronavirus indicators increase.”
The district will open July 30 as planned, but all classes will be virtual until the Board determines otherwise.
At each of the upcoming Board meetings, board members will “carefully examine where we are locally in the fight against the coronavirus” as they consider when students may return to the classroom.
