Zionsville Man Arrested for Child Exploitation, Child Pornography
BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — A man from Zionsville is accused of child exploitation.
Steven Kasyjanski was arrested May 12 after a police search of his home on Irishman’s Run Lane in Zionsville.
Police began investigating Kasyjanski after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The NCMEC had received a tip from Discord that someone at Kasyjanski’s address had used their social media platform to possess child exploitative materials.
Kasyjanski was booked into the Boone County Jail on possession of child pornography, a felony.
Kasyjanski is a lawyer, a guardian ad litem, and a coach with the Zionsville Youth Soccer Association, according to The Lebanon Reporter.
“The Boone County Sheriff’s Office pursues this type of criminal activity to its fullest extent. With our recent investigator assigned to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children joint task force, we will continue by getting more aggressive in pursuing these types of cases. Protecting our most vulnerable victims, our children, will always be our top priority,” said Boone Co. Sheriff Michael T. Nielsen.
