1-Year-Old Dies After Being Pulled from Marshall Co. Lake

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The one-year-old child pulled from a Marshall County lake has died, according to the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources.
The child, whose name and age have not been made public, died early Monday morning at a hospital in Mishawaka.
The baby was found unresponsive in Lake of the Woods on Saturday night.
The child's death is still under investigation.
Investigators won't know how or why the baby died until after an autopsy.
MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is investigating after a one-year-old was found floating in a Marshall County lake.
The baby was found floating in Lake of the Woods at around 8:15 p.m. Saturday.
Indiana Conservation Officers say the child was unresponsive but alive. Indiana DNR says the child is in critical condition at St. Joseph Medical Center.
Family members said they were at a birthday party when they noticed the back door was open and the baby was missing. The baby was found floating in 18 inches of water after about 10 minutes of searching, according to Indiana DNR.
