17-Year-Old Shot on His Way to Bus Stop, In Critical Condition

The Tuesday morning shooting happened on Indy's east side.

INDIANAPOLIS -- A 17-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot on his way to the bus stop Tuesday morning. 

Kevin Ratermann of WISH-TV says the shooting happened on Indy's east side on Linwood Avenue, near Washington Street. 

IMPD says the boy returned home to tell his mom he had been shot, then passed out, and was taken to the hospital. 

Police are still investigating and trying to find a suspect.
