8-Year-Old Boy Grazed By Bullet On City's East Side

Police said the boy was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An 8-year-old boy suffered a minor injury after being grazed by a bullet on the city's east side Friday night, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said. 

It happened around 11:30 p.m. near 21st Street and Franklin Road.

Police said the boy was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. 

No other information has been released.
