Acapulco Joe's Owner In Hospital After Trying To Stop "Dine And Dash" Customer

Police say Grant Redmond was hit by a customer who was trying to leave without paying while on a blind date.

INDIANAPOLIS – The owner of the Acapulco Joe’s restaurant in downtown Indianapolis is in the hospital after police say he tried to stop a customer who tried to leave without paying.

According to the Indy Star, Grant Redmond was hit by a customer who was trying to “dine and dash” while on a blind date.

Redmond is said to be in critical condition. 

The woman who was with the customer gave information to police about the suspect.

Police have not given out the name of the suspect.
