Amazon Looking to Hire 1,000+ Workers in Greenwood

The online retailer is seeking more than 1,000 workers as it prepares to open a new customer fulfillment hub in Johnson County.

 

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Looking for a job? Amazon is hiring in Johnson County.

The online retailer is looking to fill 1,000 open positions as it prepares to open a new customer fulfillment hub in Greenwood, according to Inside Indiana Business. The 615,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in September.

Positions are available in areas including receiving and handling inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics.

Amazon offers a $15 per hour minimum wage. Benefits for full-time employees include health insurance, a 401(k), up to 20 weeks of parental leave, and tuition assistance through the company's Career Choice program.

Applicants must be 18 with a high school degree or equivalent. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply, according to IIB.
