ANDERSON, Ind. — The Anderson Police Department has a new leader.
Mayor Thomas Broderick named Assistant Chief of Police Jake Brown as interim police chief, reports WISH-TV.
Brown replaces Tony Watters, who was removed from the job by Broderick after arguing with Indiana State Police over the arrest of his son.
Brown has been with the department for 20 years.
