UPDATE: As of 10:15 a.m., it appears that the AT&T 911 service issues have been resolved.


HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. – AT&T cellular customers may have trouble dialing 911 in some parts of central Indiana.

AT&T is experiencing issues with 911 calls, according too officials in Boone and Tippecanoe Counties.

AT&T cell phone customers who try to dial 911 in these counties may not be able to get through in an emergency. The problem is also being reported in other parts of the country.

No other carriers (Sprint, Verizon, etc.) are experiencing the issue.

A similar issue in Hamilton County has been resolved.
