INDIANAPOLIS — There might be something in your Chips Ahoy! cookies.

Mondelez Global LLC is recalling some packages of Chewy Chips Ahoy! cookies because something in the cookies is making people sick.

The “something” is being described by Mondelez as “an unexpected solidified ingredient” that has led to “adverse health effects” in several people.

The recall only covers 13-ounces packages of Chewy Chips Ahoy! cokies with UPC No. 0 44000 03223 4. 

The cookies in question have best-by dates of Sept. 7, Sept. 8, Sept. 14, and Sept. 15, 2019. 

If you have the cookies, you should throw away or return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.
