Columbus Woman Arrested for DUI With Baby in Car

Lilly Hall had her baby in the car when she crossed the center line and almost hit a curb, police say.

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A nineteen-year-old from Columbus is accused of driving under the influence with her baby in the car.

Lilly Hall, 19, crossed the center line on 25th Street and nearly hit a curb before officers stopped her Friday morning, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Officers noticed the smell of marijuana and searched Hall's car. They found pot in a jacket, a THC vape pen, and more pot inside a diaper bag.

Hall failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. She was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a minor present, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.

The infant is in the care of a relative.
