BLOOMINGTON, Ind.–You can be arrested for dealing fake drugs and a man from Bloomington and the woman who was with him, had both fake and real drugs in their car last night, say cops. Indiana State Police chased them through three counties.

Aaron Taylor, 21, and Cassandra Plantz, 22, both of Bloomington, were driving near Ellettsville, in Monroe County, about 10:30 last night, when two state troopers recognized Taylor. He was wanted on several warrants.

When the troopers hit their lights, Taylor hit the gas.

The chase went through Monroe, Greene and Lawrence counties, and finally back to Monroe, where the couple lost two tires in Bloomington and had to give up. Both Taylor and Plantz were arrested.

State Police said Taylor chunked a loaded gun out his window onto Gas Line Rd. in Lawrence County. They found it. They also found meth, marijuana and a powdery substance, which they believe is a look-alike, in the car.

Taylor was charged with driving high, reckless driving, having a gun without a license, possession of real drugs and possession and dealing fake drugs. Plantz was charged with fake drug possession and real drug possession.

The chase was an hour long and lasted 58 miles, said troopers.
