Fall Open Houses at Hoosier National Forest

You'll have two chances this month to get better acquainted with one of Indiana's natural gems, Hoosier National Forest.

BEDFORD, Ind. -- You'll have two chances this month to get better acquainted with one of Indiana's natural gems, Hoosier National Forest.

Hoosier National Forest will host two "It's All Yours" open houses on Friday, Nov. 16.

Members of the US Forest Service will be on hand for two hours to answer your questions about fall and winter activities in the Forest, including hunting, fishing, and hiking.

The first open house will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. (EST) at the Brooks Cabin at Deam Wildness on State Highway 446 south of Bloomington.

The second open house will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. (EST) at the Indian-Celina Recreation Area South Slope Campground. It can be accessed from State Highway 37, south of I-64 in Perry County.
