INDIANAPOLIS — A cold front responsible for the morning rain and afternoon cloud cover will usher in a reinforcing shot of colder air Monday night, according to WISH-TV meteorologist Marcus Bailey.
A Freeze Warning is in effect for most of central Indiana until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
This means Freeze temperatures below freezing are imminent or highly likely, says the National Weather Service. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive outdoor plants.
A Frost Advisory in place for the southern third of the state until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
This means a widespread frost is expected. Sensitive outdoor plants and crops may be damaged or killed.
