Greenfield Man Who Ran From Courthouse Still At Large

Tyrus Drane ran while police were attempting to serve a warrant on him.

GREENFIELD, Ind. -- A Greenfield man ran from the Hancock County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon while police were attempting to serve a warrant on him.

The man, who Hancock County dispatchers have identified as Tyrus Drane, is described as being 5 foot 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt at the time he fled.

Greenfield police say Drane was not in police custody at the time but had shown up at the courthouse for a hearing when officers realized they had another warrant out for his arrest.

Police spent several hours searching for Drane, but called off the search shortly before 4 p.m.

Drane remains at large.

Anyone with information should call 911.
