INDIANAPOLIS—A woman who was an intern at the Indiana Statehouse in 1993, said she had a sexual relationship with Brian Bosma, now the Indiana Speaker of the House, and that he intimidated her by  hiring an attorney to investigate her, reported the Indy Star.

Bosma, 60, denied the accusation in a statement to the paper. He also denied he had a sexual encounter with the woman.

Kandy Green, now 47, said the encounter happened when she was 20. She did not accuse Bosma of a crime.

Some of her family members claimed Bosma’s  attorney, Linda Pence, was aggressive. The Star reported the attorney was accused of threatening to reveal damaging information about Green to keep her quiet.

Bosma said he hired Pence to protect his reputation.
