IMPD Calling Amiah Robertson's Disappearance A Homicide Investigation

Detectives are now saying Amiah was last seen with Robert Lyons on March 9.

INDIANAPOLIS -- IMPD Police Chief Bryan Roach has said that the search for 8-month-old Amiah Robertson is being treated as a homicide investigation.

"We're telling you now this is a homicide investigation, but it has been all week," Said Roach during a Facebook Live before handing it over to detectives.

Detectives say that Amiah was last seen with Robert Lyons, Amber Robertson's boyfriend, on March 9, in the area of Rockville Road and South Mickley Avenue.

IMPD says Lyons is a suspect in the case, but they are not actively seeking him at this time.

Police also confirmed that the items found in the White River do belong to Amiah.

As police continue to investigate they are asking anyone who saw a 1996 maroon Isuzu Rodeo SUV on March 9 between 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to call police.
