IMPD: Man Broke into Indiana Task Force One Facility

Anthony Wallace was arrested. The Marion County Prosecutor is deciding on potential charges for Wallace.

INDIANAPOLIS--A man was arrested for breaking into an Indiana Task Force One location Wednesday, say police.

IMPD says they arrested Anthony Wallace, 39. They say they found him hiding under a vehicle and then he ran but tripped and fell.  They later caught up to and arrested Wallace, they say.

Officers say they found tools he used to cut through the fence and tried to steal things from the vehicles that were parked there.

The Marion County Prosecutor is now deciding on potential charges for Wallace.

Task Force One is Indiana's elite search and rescue team. They are deployed to the east coast to assist people affected by Hurricane Dorian.
