Indiana Inmate Back Behind Bars After Being Released by Mistake
ELKHART CO., Ind. -- An inmate from Elkhart Co. is back behind bars after he was released by mistake.
Jail workers accidentally released 38-year-old Anthony Bailey from the Elkhart Co. Jail on Saturday afternoon, said the Elkhart Co. Sheriff's Dept.
Deputies said the mistake was noticed immediately, but Bailey ran from the jail after being confronted by an officer.
He was found arrested by sheriff's deputies and Goshen police.
Bailey was originally being held without ever having a license. Additional charges are pending.
