Indianapolis Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash on I-465

Police don't believe alcohol played a role in the crash.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man has died after a motorcycle crash on I-465 Sunday night, Indiana State Police said.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday on northbound I-465 near I-70 on the city's east side. Witnesses to the crash reported a man was unconscious and seriously injured.

When officers arrived they found 67-year-old William Brown of Indianapolis unresponsive at the scene. Brown was transferred to Eskenazi Hospital where he later died.

Officers believe Brown's motorcycle was swerving back and forth before he lost control and laid the motorcycle on it's side.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Troopers do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
