Indiana's Top Restoration Prize Is Up For Grabs

The Cook Cup will be awarded in April. You have until January 15 to apply.

STATEWIDE--Its time for the annual Cook Cup.

The Cup, awarded annually by Indiana Landmarks, recognizes "exemplary restroation of an historic Indiana structure".

The award goes to someone who exhibits outstanding restoration of an historic structure and whose revitalization meets the highest restoration standards in method, materials, and design. The building should also, if possible, benefit a neighborhood or community.

You don't have to just be an individual to apply. It's also open to corporations, nonprofit organizations, or government entities that are interested.

The restoration must have been completed within the last 2 years, and the structure must be in active use. Self-nominations are welcome.

The Cook Cup winner will be honored at the Indiana Landmarks' annual Rescue Party in Indianapolis, where a short video produced by Road Pictures will highlight the before-and-after restoration. That party is slated for April 28, 2018.

You have until January 15, 2018 to apply.

Nomination forms are available on the web at www.indianalandmarks.org/cook-cup. The deadline for nominations is January 8, 2018.
