Indy Man Found Guilty of Killing Mother's Boyfriend

Prosecutors said Jacob McIntosh shot Jesse Daniels nine times after an argument in Jan. 2018.

INDIANAPOLIS --  An Indianapolis man has been convicted in the murder of his mother's boyfriend.

A jury this week found 25-year-old Jacob McIntosh guilty in the Jan. 2018 shooting death of Jesse Daniels.

Prosecutors said McIntosh shot Daniels during an argument at a home on S. Oakland Avenue on Indy's southeast side.

Police said McIntosh took two guns from an upstairs bedroom, raised them both, and fired multiple shots into Daniels' head and face.

An autopsy showed Daniels was shot nine times.

Sentencing for McIntosh is set for Sept. 25.
