A student ethics employee at IU Bloomington has  been charged with trading child porn from his campus computer.

Jon Riveire, 32, was arrested on Tuesday according to a release from Bloomington Police after they got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a child porn image uploaded to a Gmail account. Bloomington Police Captain Joe Qualters says the IP address of the computer where the image came from was traced to the IU campus, and police later learned it was Riveire's office laptop.  Qualters says around 30 images of child porn were found on the laptop.

Riveire is the assistant director for student conduct at IU's Office of Student Ethics. Qualters says Riveire asked for an attorney and did not talk to police.  Other electronic devices that belong to Riveire are being searched as part of the investigation.
