Linton PD: Woman Crashed Into Ambulance, Drove Away

The woman drove off in a silver four-door Hyundai right after hitting the ambulance, which had its lights and sirens on at the time.

LINTON, Ind. -- Police in Greene County are looking for a woman who hit an ambulance with her car and then drove away.

Linton Police Chief Troy Jerell tells WBIW-AM that a silver four-door Hyundai crashed into an ambulance that was on its way to an emergency Saturday afternoon.

The driver is described as a white woman wearing purple pants, a pink or red shirt, and a baseball cap. She was last seen driving east -- without a front bumper and driver-side headlight -- on State Road 54.

No one was hurt in the crash and the ambulance has only minor damage.
