Man Recovering After Tuesday Morning Shooting on Indy's West Side

IMPD are investigating, and still looking for the suspect.

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot multiple times early Tuesday morning on the west side of Indy. 

The shooting happened at the Deercross Apartments near 38th Street and Eagle Creek Parkway around 1:30 a.m.

IMPD described the man to be in his 40s, and took him to the hospital. He was in serious condition but his injuries are believed to be not life-threatening. 

The name of the man has not been released yet. 

Police are still investigating, and are still working on a description of the suspect.
