Man Who Was Killed At An American Legion Identified

The man who died was Theodore Braun. When police found him they tried CPR but it was unsuccessful.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has identified the man that was shot to death at an American Legion on Friday.

Police found Theodore Braun, 25, shot inside the American Legion Post 284 near South Bend when they arrived. 

Police did try to revive him with CPR but it was unsuccessful. 

Witnesses inside the bar were able to subdue the suspect, Bruce Bennett, until police could take him into custody.
