Muncie Bank Customer Shot During Attempted Robbery

MUNCIE, Ind. — A customer inside PrimeTrust Federal Credit Union on S. Madison Street tried to stop a robbery Wednesday afternoon and got shot in the leg, reported The Star Press newspaper.
After the shooting, the suspect left the bank and rode away on a BMX-style bicycle.
He was arrested just after 1 p.m. near a trailer where he was staying, according to The Star Press. His name has not been released.
Muncie Police said the customer who was shot has a “minor wound” and refused medical treatment.
