The National Weather Service to Survey Indiana Storm Damage
INDIANAPOLIS - The National Weather Service has confirmed four tornadoes hit central Indiana Saturday evening. Survey teams from the NWS will be dispatched across the state to examine more damage across central Indiana.
The agency said Saturday on Twitter that survey teams will be sent out today.
NWS Indy will be sending out employees to survey damage on Sunday June 16. Additional details will be provided when available. #inwx

Numerous tornado warnings were issued Saturday across central and south-central Indiana, with tornadoes reported in Bartholomew, Marion, Monroe, Owen and Rush Counties.
Beech Grove is the latest confirmed tornado hit. Beech Grove High School and Intermediate School, as well as the Beech Grove Meadow Apartments, were damaged in Saturday's storms.
