Nude Protester Arrested at IU Bloomington

Arizona native Taylor Watkins just wanted to draw attention to animal rights--she ended up drawing attention to something else, instead.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- A woman who wanted to draw attention to animal rights at IU Bloomington ended up drawing the attention of campus police, instead!

Animal rights activist Taylor Watkins, 23, was arrested for protesting in the nude near the Sample Gates on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Indiana Daily Student.

Campus police say they asked Watkins to put clothes on -- twice -- but she refused, saying that "animals don't wear clothes, so neither does she".

Watkins, an Arizona native, was taken to the Monroe County Jail and charged with public nudity.
