INDIANAPOLIS — It has happened again. For the second time in two days, a baby had to be delivered outside Community Hospital North in Indy.

Nancy Rivera Lopez gave birth to a baby girl in her car, with the help of her husband, as they pulled up to the front entrance Wednesday morning. The baby, arriving two weeks early, weighed in about seven pounds. Doctors say the baby and mother are doing well.

About 24 hours prior, on Tuesday morning, Hermita Patel delivered her baby boy, Zayden, in front of the Community Hospital North main entrance, after her husband had to rush her to the hospital after she started going into labor.
