One Person Ejected in Three-Car Crash in Lawrence

The crash happened in the area of Pendelton Pike and Franklin Road just before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

LAWRENCE, Ind. -- One person was ejected in a three-vehicle crash in Lawrence Tuesday morning, according to the Lawrence Police Department.

The crash happened in the area of Pendelton Pike and Franklin Road just before 6:30 a.m.

A driver of one of the vehicles, who had to be cut out, was being transported to the hospital. Police say the driver was awake and breathing during transportation.

A second driver, who was ejected from the vehicle, suffered only minor injuries. Finally, a third driver involved in the crash suffered only minor injuries as well.

Crews are currently on scene and clean up is already underway.
