Pacers Hold Thanksgiving Meal at Bankers Life Fieldhouse

Team captains Victor Oladipo and Thaddeus Young served as the two hosts on behalf of the team.

INDIANAPOLIS -- The 21st annual Come to our House Thanksgiving Dinner served 792 guests from 15 area shelters Wednesday.

The entire Indiana Pacers team was at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Team captains Victor Oladipo and Thaddeus Young served as the two hosts on behalf of the team, as the entire Pacers organization and members of different media outlets pitched in as guest servers.

Levy Restaurants prepared the meal, and all leftovers will be donated to Second Helpings.

In addition to the food, the guests could participate in activities like getting flu vaccines from St. Vincent, enjoying a photo booth, a balloon artist, a face painter and a caricaturist.

As the guests left Bankers Life Fieldhouse, they received a Pacers Holiday Pack that included cold-weather items including a Pacers knit hat, an Indiana Fever Bammie, gloves, Finish Line socks and Clif Bars.
