Pence: The Special Counsel's Got His Job, We'll Keep Doing Ours

The VP was on CBS This Morning and answered questions about the latest on the Russia investigation.

WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Russian investigation is focusing now on Pres. Trump's actions in office. But, Vice-Pres. Mike Pence says the administration is focused on the needs of the American people.

"As we see for the first time, three category 4 hurricanes make landfall in the United States, as we see threats like North Korea and an increasing destabilizing world by Iran, as we see challenges here at home like health care, and the need to move this economy forward, I can assure you Pres. Trump and I are completely focused on the issues that matter most to the American people," said Pence on CBS This Morning.

He said he and Trump would continue to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller.

"The special counsel's got his job to do. We're gonna keep doing our job, and that's focusing on the issues that the president spoke about before the UN tht we're working on before the Congress," said Pence.

Both he and the president are expected in Indiana soon to talk about tax reform.
