Perry Township School Bus Rear-Ended by Pickup Truck

One student was taken to the hospital with neck pain.

INDIANAPOLIS -- A student and an adult were hurt Monday morning when a Perry Township school bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

It happened near Keystone Avenue and Lindbergh Drive around 6:15 a.m.

Perry Township school officials say six students were on the bus at the time of the accident.

One was taken to the hospital after complaining of neck pain.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported from the scene in a neck brace.

As schools get back into session, this is a good reminder about stopping for school buses.

If a bus stops with its flashing lights and the "stop" sign is out, you must stop unless a road is separated by a hard median.
