Person Shot Wednesday Morning Blocks Away From Where Two-Year-Old Was Shot Tuesday

Both shootings happened near Bradley Avenue on Indy's east side.

INDIANAPOLIS -- For the second consecutive morning, a person has been shot in the same Indianapolis east-side neighborhood.

Indianapolis Metro Police say a person was shot just after midnight Wednesday morning, at the intersection of Walnut and Denny streets.

IMPD says the victim then walked back to a house around the corner on Bradley Avenue, where 9-1-1 was called. The victim is stable, police say.

On Tuesday morning, a two-year-old was shot in the wrist, also on Bradley Avenue. That toddler was taken to Riley Hospital for Children.

Police are still investigating both shootings.
