Police ID Man Killed in Strip Club Shooting

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. at club in the 200 block of West Morris Street.

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was killed in a shooting Wednesday morning at a strip club parking lot on Indianapolis' south side. 

The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at Lenny's Gentleman's Club, also known as World Famous Showclub, at 225 W. Morris Street.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old John T. Doe.

Police arrived at the club and found that Doe had been shot. Despite the efforts of Indianapolis EMIS workers, Doe died at the scene. 

Employees said a disturbance started inside the club which filtered outside. 

A man fired a shot and was detained for questioning as investigators try to figure out what led to the shooting.
