Police: Man Named Chase Leads Officers On Chase, Crashes Motorcycle

Noblesville Police say Chase Ferguson led officers on a chase and crashed his motorcycle in a roundabout in Carmel.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – A man whose first name is Chase is in the hospital after officers say he led police on a chase and crashed his motorcycle.

Noblesville Police say Chase Ferguson, 25, of Noblesville was driving erratically on 146th Street near Cherry Tree Road around 5:45 a.m. Monday.  An officer tried to pull over Ferguson, but he did not stop and continued to drive faster along Hazel Dell Parkway. 

Investigators say Ferguson crashed in a roundabout at Hazel Dell Parkway and Main Street in Carmel.

Ferguson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition.  No one else was on the motorcycle and no other vehicles were involved.

Officers had the roundabout in Hamilton County shut down for nearly three hours to investigate the crash.
