Noblesville Police say Chase Ferguson, 25, of Noblesville was driving erratically on 146th Street near Cherry Tree Road around 5:45 a.m. Monday.  An officer tried to pull over Ferguson, but he did not stop and continued to drive faster along Hazel Dell Parkway.

Investigators say Ferguson crashed in a roundabout at Hazel Dell Parkway and Main Street in Carmel.

Ferguson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis in critical condition.  No one else was on the motorcycle and no other vehicles were involved.

Officers had the roundabout in Hamilton County shut down for nearly three hours to investigate the crash.
