INDIANAPOLIS — Making a stand for the right to life. That’s what members of the Pro-Life Court Coalition say they were doing outside of Senator Joe Donnelly’s office Monday morning.

Members of this group gathered at 10:30 a.m. to urge Sen. Donnelly to vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. Members of the Coalition say they believe Judge Kavanaugh is pro-life.

Mallory Quigley, Vice President of Communications for Susan B. Anthony List, said the Coalition is also working to expose the reality that, while Senator Donnelly claims to be pro-life, his voting record shows otherwise. The Susan B. Anthony List is a part of the Coalition.

Judge Kavanaugh was nominated by President Donald Trump on July 9. Senator Donnelly plans to meet with Judge Kavanaugh on August 15, which will make him the second Democrat to agree to a sit down with President Trump’s nominee.

Monday morning’s event was one of three planned for the day. The other two were planned for Terre Haute at 1 p.m., and Lafayette at 4 p.m.
