Purdue University Sets Donation Record

For the first time in Purdue's history, contributors have donated more than $400 million in one year.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.--Over 86,000 donors to Purdue University helped donate a record amount of money last year.

That amount was $451.5 million for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

It marks the first time in Purdue’s history that contributors — alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, students, parents and friends, and corporations and foundations — have donated more than $400 million in one year.

The total includes a record $88.2 million for student support and boosts “Ever True: The Campaign for Purdue University” to $1.964 billion toward its $2.019 billion goal.

Ever True is the largest fundraising effort in Purdue history.

The total number of donors was 86,176. That's up from 85,465 from last year.
