Search Continues for Muncie Murder Suspect; Reward Offered for Info

There's a reward of up to $1,000 for infor leading to the capture of Brady Turner, who police belived stabbed a man to death Monday night.

MUNCIE, Ind. -- In Muncie, the search continues for a man police say stabbed another man to death Monday night.

Investigators believe Brady Turner, 25, fatally stabbed Christopher Burgess Jr., 27, during an argument shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, reports The Muncie Star Press.

Muncie Police and Delaware County Sheriff's deputies searched neighborhoods, corn fields, and wooded areas Tuesday afternoon and evening, but could not find the wanted man.

As of 12 p.m. Wednesday, Turner remains at large.

Crime Stoppers Muncie is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Turner's arrest, Muncie police said Wednesday. Tips can be left anonymously at 765-286-4050.

People with information about Turner's whereabouts or the murder of Christopher Burgess Jr. can also call the Muncie Police Department at 765-747-4867.
