Severe Weather Possible Mid Morning to Late Afternoon
STATE WIDE--The whole state of Indiana is at risk for severe weather, starting about 11 a.m. and stretching into the afternoon.
"The entire state does have either a slight risk or an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms," said WISH TV Meteorologist Randy Ollis. "I think the best timing will be from 11 o'clock this morning until about 4 or 5 o'clock this afternoon."
Ollis said the main threat will be damaging winds, with a wind advisory starting at 11. But, he said the risk of hail and tornadoes is also there.
AWNING COLLAPSE: Looks like the wind may have brought down the front awning on a gas station at 34th & Mass Ave (the small awning over the store’s door, not the one over the pumps). IMPD tells me that no one was hurt. #NewsTracker #Daybreak8 pic.twitter.com/IRtKsmBy0F

Once the storms move through, a cold front will bring the temperatures down.
"The winds will shift to the northwest this evening and down go the temperatures," said Ollis.
He said after a high near 70 today, the high friday will barely make it into the 40s for much of the state.
