Shelbyville Police Looking For Man Accused Of Sexual Assault Attempt

Officers say the incident happened Aug. 13 at the Shelby High Apartments at what used to be the city's old high school building which has been turned into an apartment building.  

SHELBYVILLE, Ind. – Shelbyville police are looking for a man who they say tried to sexually assault another person three weeks ago.  

 

Officers say the incident happened Monday, Aug. 13 at the Shelby High Apartments which used to be the city's old high school building.  

 

The man is described as black with dark hair, between 5’ 5’ and 5’ 6” tall with tattoos.  Investigators say he was wearing blue jeans and a sleeveless shirt at the time.  

 

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police at 317-392-5118.
