Snow Returns This Weekend
INDIANAPOLIS--We're keeping it COLD for the entire forecast and snow makes an appearance on Saturday morning.
Expect very cold temperature overnight with lows in the mid 10s under partly cloudy skies. Brrr.
On Friday most of the day will be partly cloudy, but cloudy will be on the increase in the late evening and overnight. Highs in the mid 30s with lows in the mid 20s.
Very light snow arrives in the forecast early Saturday morning. Accumulation should be light (1/2 to 1") for most, but a few spots could pick up locally higher amounts, with some Lake Effect snow bringing much higher amounts to northern Indiana. Highs on Saturday near 32 with lows in the mid 10s.
On Sunday temperatures stay near freezing with a mix of sun and clouds. Lows in the mid 20s.
Next week brings even colder air by Tuesday. Highs on Monday will be in the upper 30s, but drop into the upper 20s on Tuesday. Lows will stay in the 10s. A few light snow showers could be possible Monday and Tuesday. Significant accumulation is not expected at this time.
