Stolen Bras And Underpants Thrown Out Of Car During High-Speed Chase, Say Police
PORTAGE, Ind. — A northwestern Indiana woman is accused of shoplifting bras and ladies’ underpants and throwing those items out her car window as she led officers on a high-speed chase.
Investigators say Holly Sansone, 34, of Portage stole several items, including four bras and 14 pairs of underpants from a Kohl’s store.
According to the Times of Northwest Indiana, Sansone was approached by officers, but took off in her car and led them on a chase racing at speeds near 100 miles an hour.
During the chase, police say Sansone was tossing the stolen bras and underpants out of the car, while nearly hitting several vehicles.
Officers were able to get her to stop after she ran over police stop sticks on State Road 49.
Investigators say they recovered the stolen bras and underpants along the road and that she was wearing two pairs of stolen underpants when she was booked into the Porter County Jail.
Kohl’s says Sansone stole nearly $450 from its store.
