Stolen Walmart Trailer Found in Front Yard in Mishawaka

Police arrested Josephvon Johnson for stealing the trailer full of miscellaneous goods.

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A Walmart trailer stolen from a store in Lansing, Illinois, was found in a front yard in Mishawaka on Monday.

When Mishawaka police heard about the trailer, they wondered if it was the same one sitting in a yard on Grape Road.

When officers arrived, the trailer was being unloaded by several people and items were being carried into a house.

Police arrested Josephvon Johnson of Jackson, Tenn., for theft, says WNDU.

Walmart workers were brought to the home to take back the items. WNDU said this took several hours because the garage was filled with products like candles, bicycles, and food.

Police have said how the trailer was stolen. The case is being reviewed by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office.
